If Mom could catch a rainbow
I know she would do it just for me
And share with me its beauty
On the days that I'm feeling oh so blue
If Mom could build a mountain
She'll call it our very own
A place where we can find serenity
A place where she and I can be alone
If Mom could take my troubles away
She would toss them all in the sea
But all of these things my Mom is looking
Are impossible for her to do
She cannot build a mountain for me
Either catch a rainbow fair
But I know what is the best things she can do
To be a companion and a Mom that is always there
